Perched along the northwest coast of Barbados, the charming seaside village of St. Lucy inspires our collection of natural fragrances. This unique terrain and tropical climate nurture some of the Caribbean’s most captivating scents, from Frangipani and Night-Blooming Jasmine to West Indian Bay, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon.
THE PERFUMER & FOUNDER
She believes that the highest quality raw materials are the secret to creating wonderful perfumes, which is why she exclusively uses the most precious varieties for her olfactory creations.
St. Lucy Botanists was founded in Barbados by Kathryn Walters, a former wine and spirits specialist with a profound belief in the innate connection between people and nature.
With training in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, Kathryn draws on her extensive experience in distilling plant materials and aromatherapy to create functional fragrances that are more exquisite than anything produced in a lab.
Kathryn is committed to a sustainable circular economy, creating fragrances with upcycled materials and employing innovative methods to ensure nothing goes to waste. Her perfumes are crafted with the intention of easy appeal, embodying a Bajan spirit that values sentiment over spectacle.
